My wife is so frugal! We have to get something for the dog. So instead of going to our local pet store she insists on going to a flea market that is around 10 miles away! She is driving through the ice and snow 4 towns away to save a few dollars! I don’t get it! She is a penny wise and a dollar stupid! How in the world do I deal with this?? She drives me crazy!
I always love these questions on Yahoo Answers. I once saw a question about English grammar and I happen to be an English teacher. The person was asking about parts of speech and my answer was the only one that answered the question–the word in question was an adverb. The answer that won was not mine but, “I think your teacher is wrong.”
Anyways, this man’s wife isn’t frugal. If she were, she’d realize that it is a waste of time and money driving around kingdom come, looking to save a few pennies.
